The developers from the TaleWorld studio published an article in the blog on March 28, where they told about one of the Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord mods - Skirmish.
This is a PvP mode for the group of 6v6. The authors honestly admit that the battles are asymmetrical: knights in heavy armour are much stronger than warriors in leather armour. They decided to balance this with the number of revivals: the stronger the fighter, the fewer attempts to return to battle after death. In general, this is the correct version of For Honor.
There are three capture points on the map for battles to be more tactical, rather than a team dump. The moral of the team depends on the number of captured points. As soon as it drops to zero, the battle will be lost.
Skirmish can be tested in a closed beta. There are no details yet, but we have already written to the studio mail and look forward to an invite to share our impressions.
The previous game Mount & Blade: Warband was released in 2010 and supported the possibility of online battles for 64 players. Critics endorsed the combat system and the freedom that was granted to the player.
The release date of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is still unknown.
