NetherRealm Studios has released the latest Mortal Kombat 11 update. Patch 1.14 brings with it adjustments for several characters in the game and a couple of bugfixes. Geras receives the most changes that affect some of his moves. Fatal Blows will also no longer have a hitbox behind opponents, and jump in actions have received a bit of a nerf. Here is the Mortal Kombat 11 version 1.14 patch notes:
General Gameplay Adjustments
Move list corrected
AI logic improved
Fixed issues with some augments not working properly
Fixed issue with using random select in online matches
Fixed issues of online desyncs
Fixed an issue that caused incorrect victim regions for several frames if the character went from ducking to standing and did no further inputs with precise timing
Fixed a rare issue that caused a character to get hit by a high projectile if they duck block and release block with precise timing
Fixed an issue with defensive bar not refilling at the correct rate when a round ends while one bar has been destroyed by “Chip Avoided” and the second bar is not full
Armor on Fatal Blow attacks now start up in 8 frames
Fatal Blow attacks for all characters except Cassie Cage no longer have a hitbox behind the opponent
Ducking Front Punch, Ducking Front Kick, & Ducking Back Kick can no longer be canceled into a special move when Flawless Blocked
Jump Back Punch has 5 fewer frames of blockstun on block and Flawless Block
Jump Front Punch and Back Punch attacks can no longer be canceled into air special moves when Flawless Blocked
Jump Front Punch and Back Punch can no longer be canceled into normal attacks or ground special moves upon landing when Flawless Blocked
Jump Kick attacks have slightly increased damage scaling to match Jump Punch attacks and 4 more frames of recovery when blocked
Jump Kick attacks can no longer be canceled into air special moves when Flawless Blocked
Jump Kick attacks can no longer be canceled into grounded special moves upon landing when blocked or Flawless Blocked
Characters with Escape Failed Krushing Blows on both toward and back throws can now only use one throw Krushing Blow per match
Several new Brutalities added

Stage Specific Adjustments
Shirai Ryu Fire Garden – Fixed an issue with stone toss interaction in the left corner
Special Forces Desert Command – Fixed an issue with cactus needles lingering at an incorrect location after performing an uppercut brutality
Kronika’s Hour Glass – This Arena will now select from a random list of Background Interactions to use in Versus Mode, Tournament Mode & 1v1 Online Modes
Chaotian Age – This Arena will now select from a random list of Background Interactions to use in Versus Mode, Tournament Mode & 1v1 Online Modes
Prehistoric Age – This Arena will now select from a random list of Background Interactions to use in Versus Mode, Tournament Mode & 1v1 Online Modes
The Chaotian Age, Kronika’s Hour Glass, and Prehistoric Age Arenas are no longer disabled by default in Tournament Mode

Cetrion
Far H2 Port now costs 2 bars of Defensive Gauge
Hell’s Wrath visual effect when Amplified will now disappear when it is projectile destroyed
D’Vorah
Fixed a rare camera issue during the Fatal Blow cinematic while on the right side on Kharon’s Ship
Erron Black
Adjusted the hit region of Quick Shot (Getup / Block Attack Up + Back Punch)
Bounty Bash (Back Punch) now recovers 3 frames faster on block
Deal In Lead (Back Punch, Front Punch) now has 5 more frames of blockstun and 5 more recovery frames slower on block
Frost
Cryogenic Crown now does 3 damage, has decreased combo damage scaling, and 2 more active frames
Geras
Titan Charge now has 9 startup frames
Time Splash now has 5 fewer frames of blockstun
The Deathless Giant now has 4 more frames of hit advantage, 5 fewer frames of recovery on hit, and its cancel frame occurs 1 frame later than before
Matter Of Time now has 25 startup frames and recovers 3 frames slower than before
Sand Trap and Quick Sand both create 5 fewer frames of blockstun when Flawless Blocked
Temporal Advantage hit region slightly adjusted when the opponent is in a combo
Jacqui Briggs
Fixed an issue with several Kombo Attacks that allowed them to be canceled into Wall of Justice during their first 3 startup frames
Jade
Heaven’s Heel now has 1 less recovery frame, and its hit region is slightly adjusted
Johnny Cage
High Forceball & Low Forceball now have 11 startup frames
Rise And Shine now has 9 startup frames
Kitana
The hit region of Fanning Out was adjusted
Purge The Weak now hits mid
Fixed an issue with several Kombo Attacks that allowed them to be canceled into Deadly Game during their first 3 startup frames
Kotal Kahn
Mehtizquia Cut now has 2 more active frames, 3 fewer recovery frames, and causes 5 more frames of blockstun with increased pushback when not Flawless Blocked
Kotal Kahn – Fixed a rare issue that could cause him to move quickly across the screen if he canceled an attack into Coatl Parry with precise timing while close to an opponent performing a Breakaway
Kung Lao
Possessed Hat now throws two projectiles at the opponent
Noob Saibot
The hit region of Wraith Boot was adjusted
Skarlet
The hit region of Bloody Boots was adjusted
Bloodport Far now costs 2 bars of Defensive Gauge
Fixed a rare camera issue when successfully parrying an attack with Dagger Dance
Fixed a rare issue that caused Skarlet to be unable to duck Sindel’s Back It Up high attack in certain circumstances
Sub-Zero
Adjusted the hit region of Chilled Heel
Shang Tsung
Screaming Soul Amplify is now correctly affected by projectile destroying moves
Fixed an issue with being unable to perform Spare Time or Lost Time while morphed into Geras after the first round
Sindel
Fixed an issue with several Kombo Attacks that allowed them to be canceled into Edenian Royal Decree during their first 3 startup frames
Low Star Screamer Amplify is now correctly affected by projectile destroying moves
Terminator
Fixed an issue with several Kombo Attacks that allowed them to be canceled into Chill Out during their first 3 startup frames
AI will now correctly use the “Terminate” ability
