NetherRealm Studios has released a new update for Mortal Kombat 11, which features several balance changes for the latest character on the roster, Joker. A few other characters receive tweaks while a rare issue with the Getup Forward Roll move has now been fixed.

Half of Joker’s changes are fixes for issues involving moves like Getting Lit amplified, C C D D E G E C Amplified, and Batsy Pew Pew. Ta-Da will no longer be done at a specific timing to remove its landing recovery frames, Back Throw now requires proper input for opponents to Throw Escape, and Jumping Jester will no longer cause full block damage when Flawless Blocked.

Jax, Terminator, and Nightwolf also had issues fixed, while Erron Black’s Grip Slam had its hit reaction adjusted and one more frame of hit advantage. Jacqui Briggs’ Danger Zone will no longer hit opponents that should be invincible, Shang Tsung’s Crushing Palm will now correctly cancel into Sternum Breaker, and Kano gets changes to both Cheeky Swipes and Deadly Digger.

With Final Kombat 2020 barely three weeks away, NetherRealm Studios is determined to make sure the game is balanced before the big finale for the Mortal Kombat 11 2019/2020 competitive circuit.
