Mortal Kombat 11 news: new heroes and mobile game (spoilers)

NetherRealm held a rather long (almost 100 minutes in total) stream on Twitch, talking about their impressions and expectations. Two more heroes were presented during the stream, whom we will be able to play in 11 part of our favourite fighting game.

The first was the return of Kabal, which you can remember well from since Mortal Kombat 3, where he was initially part of the Black Dragon gang under the command of Kano. However, later his soul was saved by Raiden, and he switched to the bright side, but due to the injuries he was forced to wear a protective mask (Vader, hi!)

We were shown strikes that Kabal would carry out in MK11 during the fight with Sub-Zero. And also his “meat-looking” fatality.

As it was previously announced, players will have the opportunity to change the appearance of the characters (the so-called “cosmetics”). So, Kabal will have a look without a mask, and the funny thing is without scars and background with the inability to breathe. It’s strange. 

Many Twitter users have already responded to the stream with a series of surprised tweets.

The developers also introduced the fight of a new hero Geras and his Fatal Blow.

Poor Sub-Zero got beaten during the stream by Kabal (without a mask) and Geras and ... hooray! D’Vorah will also be present among the heroes of Mortal Kombat 11.

Unfortunately, many players also learned that Kronika, the new hero of the franchise, who will appear for the first time in Mortal Kombat 11 and the main antagonist of the new part of the series, will be a non-player character. She is the Keeper of Time, who decided to change the history’s direction, realising that Raiden’s actions upset the balance between good and evil.
