At this point, everyone who is familiar with competitive Super Smash Bros. Ultimate knows PGRU #1 player, Leonardo "MkLeo" Lopez. Following his second-place finish  at the year's first major Smash Ultimate tournament, Genesis 7, MkLeo announced that he would be going back to playing as a counter picker.

What this means is he will choose about three characters to alternate between at tournaments to keep his opponents off balance and serve as options for matchups that are bad for his main. With his tier list, fans get to see where he thinks the roster is right now and get some insight into his likely tournament picks.

MkLeo gives all his tiers names, with each clearly stating what they represent. At the top, we have "The best of the best," followed by "High tier," "Mid-tier," "Low tier," "Worse than low tier," and a tier solely for the game's Miis right at the bottom.

None

Peach/Daisy take MkLeo's number one spot due to how often he has lost to the characters' down tilt attack. Pikachu takes second place where Joker would have been, had it not been for the series of nerfs he suffered from version 7.0.0. His top tier is very similar to that of Adam "Armada" Lindgren, with the addition of Inkling, Mario, and Lucina.

High tier has a lot of characters, including Terry Bogard, Ryu, and Ken. While the newest DLC character Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, sits in his mid-tier, which is in no particular order. Players like William "Leffen" Hjelte would strongly disagree, but this is another similarity MkLeo's tier list shares with Armada's.

In "Worse than low tier," we have Jigglypuff, Little Mac, and Isabelle taking up the rear while at rock bottom is all the Miis.
