The danish coach will be helping us in preparation for the ELS Rio Europe Minor closed qualifier.

mithR was released from North earlier this month and replaced by Jimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson. Since then, mithR has been quiet about his intentions on continuing to coach in CS:GO. Now, it appears mithR has found a short-term project with Apeks.
Here is what mithR had to say about the opportunity:

Even though it's going to be temporary, and only for the Closed Qualifier for the Minor, it's important for me to stay active. I get bored with sitting at home, and even though streaming, analyzing demos, creating tactics and trying to improve my abilities as a coach can also be a challenge, I miss competing, practicing, evaluating, and the pressure that follows when attending something important. Also, as I'm half Norwegian, it's a good way for me to practice my Norwegian and eat some of that 'myseost' and 'fenalår'.

I'm not going to try and change a lot of things. It's not possible to make a lot of changes with the time we have, but I can help perfect some of the things that they're already doing right, and help them prepare for some of the opponents in the qualifier that I've been competing against many times during my time in North.
With the addition of mithR, Apeks is now:
- Kristian "akez" Kornbakk
- Erik "truth" Hansen Dyrnes
- Sander "Grusarn" Iversen
- Haakon "Radifaction" Tholo
- Ole "Marcelious" Kristian Langan
- Pål "Polly" Kammen (Coach)
- Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg (Temporary coach)
The Europe Minor Closed Qualifier is set to take place on March 7 - 8.
