Misfits have officially added flex/support Mikaël "Hidan" Da Silva to their roster following their victory at the Overwatch Open.

Hidan joined the lineup on a trial basis in September, filling in for support player Nikolaj "Zaprey" Ian Moyes, who left the team ahead of the Overwatch Open. Ruben "ryb" Ljungdahl also played as a stand-in at the event, replacing tank player Nicholas "skipjack" Rosada, who had to sit out the tournament due to a family emergency.

Hidan is a former Team Fortress 2 pro who won Gamers Assembly 2015 while with E-SHOCK. Prior to playing with Misfits, he was part of the NoNameYet roster which unsuccessfully competed in the qualifiers for the Overwatch Open and Atlantic Showdown.

Hidan helped the team take a 3-1 Grand Finals win over Team EnVyUs at the Overwatch Open last Friday, securing the $100,000 grand prize.
