Misfits have added Anton "COOLLER" Singov in place of Jonathan "Kryw" Nobre, the organization told over.gg Sunday.
In a statement to over.gg, Misfits owner Ben Spoont confirmed the move.
"We can confirm that Cooller is replacing Kryw, and we wish Kryw the best of success in the future. He was a tremendous asset to the team, including his fantastic performance at the Overwatch Open."
COOLLER is a veteran of the competitive Quake scene, but has also had a notable stint with Russian squad ANOX. That organization parted ways with the team, and the roster continued under the name Slav Squad. At the time they separated, COOLLER was listed as a substitute.
COOLLER will play Lucio for the team while Sebastian "Zebbosai" Olsson, previously the team's Lucio player, will move permanently to the flex position.
Kryw, widely regarded as one of the world's best Zarya players, is a free agent in a market with a fair amount of demand. Many rosters will likely look to make adjustments before the Overwatch League begins in earnest.
Misfits have an upcoming engagement at DreamHack Winter, set to start on Nov. 24. The roster has surprised opponents despite previous changes, but will need to repeat that success against Ninjas in Pyjamas, Fnatic and compLexity Gaming and four as-yet determined teams that will qualify through the BYOC tournament.
