On the Dota 2 2019/2020 Season registration page, it's been discovered that Malaysian player Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng has returned to competitive Dota. MidOne has registered for the season under a new banner, SEAMonkeys.
The former Team Secret player took some time off competitive play earlier this month, and though we all thought he would be gone for an extended period, it looks like he couldn’t keep away for long. He's joined by Dota Hero players, Nicholas Lim “zeal” Eng Han and Lee “Chidori” Jia He. zeal was the captain of his former team.
Former Mineski member Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross also took some time off from Dota 2, but he’s back as well to bring his talents to the new team. The last player in SEAMonkeys is Oi Yu “KennyO” Kaha, but very little is known about him. Here’s the full roster:
Zheng "MidOne" Yek Nai (Mid)
Lee "Chidori" Jia Hye (Kerry)
Nicholas Lim "Zeal" Ang Khan (Offlane)
Michael "ninjaboogie" Ross (Support)
Oh Yu "KennyO" Kah (Support)
There are still a lot of unknowns regarding the team, like which events they’ll take part in and whether the players have long term plans for SEAMonkeys. For now, it’s just great to know that MidOne and ninjaboogie are back on the scene.
