Brazilian esports organization MIBR has announced the signing of Ignacio "meyern" Meyer, who replaces Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles on the squad.
The Argentine player makes the transfer after only four months with Sharks Esports, where he competed in the ECS Season 8 Finals and the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals. His first big event was DreamHack Masters Dallas, while he still played for Isurus Gaming.
LUCAS1 joined MIBR on loan from Luminosity Gaming back in June. He eventually transferred to MIBR in September after Luminosity released its CS:GO roster, but his contract with the team has now been terminated.
Here’s the current MIBR lineup:
Epitacio "TACO" de Melo
Fernando "fer" Alvarenga
Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
Ignacio "meyern" Meyer
Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe
João "felps" Vasconcellos (substitute)
Wilton "zews" Prado (coach)
meyern’s first match with MIBR is cs_summit 5, which begins today. They play G2 Esports at the Summit Studios, Los Angeles, as the last match of the day.
