American esports player Jason "Mew2King" Zimmerman is popularly known as one of the Gods of Melee. However, he's actually played every Smash game since and has been paying a lot of attention to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Following the release of patch 6.1.0, Mew2king has released his tier list for the game's massive roster. It comes as no surprise that Piranha Plant is ranked at the bottom, but following the DLC fighter is Dragon Quest's Hero then Banjo-Kazooie. Wolf is also ranked rather low.

At the top, we find Palutena, Peach, and Pikachu due to their ability to overpower most of the roster. Another surprise is Joker in fourth place instead of higher. According to Mew2king, the Persona 5 protagonist is overrated thanks to Leonardo "MKLeo" Lopez Perez's success using him and the inability of most to punish Arsene. Pac-Man, Terry Bogard, and Ken also have spots as high tier characters.

Fans were disappointed at The Game Awards after Nintendo decided not to reveal the fifth DLC character. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's fighters pass 5 DLC is scheduled for a February 2020 launch, which will further change up the meta.
