Photo Mode became a common feature in videogames long ago, and Metro Exodus is not going to be an exception in a chain of releases packed with it. As Deep Silver and 4A Games officially announced, the special Photo Mode will be available to all players on Day 1 regardless of platform you choose to play on.
As executive producer Joch Bloch explained, Photo Mode was a highly requested feature by the fans, even though Metro series belongs to first-person shooters. It's a pretty strong argument against the mode's implementation, and the FPS camera is understandably limited in terms of capturing the whole scale of specific scenes, but the developers decided to include the mode despite the voice of logic - only to satisfy the community. The game releases in mid-February, so you might want to check the available options for pre-orders to make sure you don't miss the moment Metro Exodus hits the shelves.
Considering Metro Exodus will receive an early implementation of RTX support, Photo Mode is going to be a welcomed feature for the happy owners of the latest generation of graphics cards. Moreover, PC-gamers will also be able to use the integrated Nvidia's application Ansel to capture breathtaking in-game screenshots.
