Metro Exodus might be a finished product, but there’s absolutely no reason not to continue the game’s story. The developers from 4A Games have recently revealed the contents of the upcoming Expansion Pass, which will feature two additional pieces of story content.

There’s actually a lot to be excited about, although Artyom – the main character of the base game – won’t be the central protagonist of the DLCs. The first expansion, called The Two Colonels, will focus on the story of Colonel Khlebnikov. In an attempt to see his son who is living under the city of Novosibirsk, he will have to embark on a dangerous journey. A year after these events, the story will be examined by Colonel Miller. The DLC will add new environments to the game as well as new deadly weapons. The second piece of content is titled Sam’s Story, and there you’ll follow another new character – US marine Sam. It is also going to be a story about family and possible reunion, as Sam tries to get back home in order to learn if his family and relatives are still alive – within the environment based on the city of Vladivostok.

The Two Colonels is scheduled to release this summer, and you’ll have to wait fairly long for the second DLC, Sam’s Story, which will only be available at the beginning of 2020. You can already purchase the Expansion Pass for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
