CIS was the first to determine teams that will go to represent the region at the fourth Major 2018/19 Dota Pro Circuit season. Today, the groups that will represent Europe and South America, as well as the first lucky ones from the Qualifiers from China, have become known. The match for the first of two slots in the Southeast Asia region will be held tomorrow.

Europe

The final, third slot was played today between The Final Tribe and OG. OG beat out a ticket to Disneyland Paris with a score of 2:0 with the ridiculous 17 minutes of the first map and the not very difficult 29 minutes of the second. Thus, Europe region will be represented by OG, Team Liquid and Team Secret.

South America

The first slot from South America was occupied by the Butterfly Effect team, which passed through the Upper Bracket and beat the Chaos Esports Club team to the Lower Bracket. However, the latter didn’t give up and used the chance to get a slot at MDL Disneyland® Paris Major at full capacity. They defeated Infamous today with a score of 2:0 and received a long-awaited “ticket” to Paris. Thus, Chaos Esports Club and Butterfly Effect will be the South America’s representatives.

China

Two matches, which identified the owners of the first two slots in Major, took place today in the Upper Bracket. Keen Gaming with a crushing 2:0 score against Vici Gaming surprised us again. Vici Gaming will have to try their luck against EHOME tomorrow. The second lucky ones who were qualified for the fourth Major - PSG.LGD, who also beat Newbee with a score of 2:0 to the Lower Bracket. Newbee will fight tomorrow for the opportunity to go to the second round of the Lower Bracket against Royal.

Decider Matches passed today in Groups A and B of North America today: compLexity Gaming knocked out TEAM TEAM to the Lower Bracket Round 1 with the score of 2:0, where they will be waiting for the loser of EG vs J.Storm pair. The latter, by the way, won Team Xolotl with the same 2:0 score.

The first matches of the Playoff stage are live right now - Evil Geniuses plays against J.Storm in Bo3 formatting. Forward Gaming will face two or three possible maps with compLexity Gaming within a couple of hours.
