The MDL Chengdu Major South America Closed Qualifiers began on October 5, with other qualifiers holding simultaneously in five other regions. MDL Chengdu is the first Major of the Dota Pro Circuit 2019-2020 season, with the top three teams from each qualifier earning a spot in the Major.
