MDL Chengdu Major groups are set

MDL Chengdu is the first Major of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit and begins from November 16-24. Sixteen teams will face off in the $1 million tournament.

Fifteen of these teams secured their spots in the event by winning their respective regional qualifiers. The last team qualified by winning the recently concluded Minor, DOTA Summit 11. The event consists of a Group Stage which uses the GSL format and a double-elimination Playoff. All sixteen teams have now been split into four groups, in the following order.

Each team will play its first match of the event on Saturday, November 16. The Group Stage will end the next day with eight teams moving on to the Playoffs on November 18.
