Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order releases in July ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Announced back in December 2018, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is a Nintendo Switch exclusive, which features a lot of popular comic books characters. The heroes and villains are about to start a fight of epic scale for the Infinity Gauntlet – and we now know exactly when it’s going to happen.

Dozens of characters will unleash their powers on July 19. This time you’ll get the chance to meet many more familiar faces thanks to the expanded roster of the game. Moreover, the story of the game vaguely follows the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although there’re of course characters that haven’t been yet featured on the big screen as part of the quest to defeat Thanos. There’re obviously X-Men, but Peter Parker, for instance, is not solely representing the Spiderverse – he’s accompanied by Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is being developed by Koei Tecmo Games and Team Ninja, and we should expect a high-quality action product from such experienced studios.

Considering that the first two games of the series hit a wide variety of platforms, it’s rather strange to see Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 as a Switch exclusive. Perhaps, there’s a slight chance that the game will later appear on other consoles and PC, but it’s unlikely given the fact that Nintendo is the publisher.
