Luminosity defeat Tempo Storm, win DreamHack Open Austin

In the battle of Brazil, only Brazil could emerge victorious. Major champions Luminosity Gaming added another tournament victory to their resume with a 2-0 victory over Tempo Storm at DreamHack Open Austin on Sunday.

Luminosity were in top form all tournament long. They took top seed in their group after a dominant pair of matches against Splyce and Cloud9. They faced Team Liquid in the semifinal round, taking them out 2-0 before meeting fellow Brazilian squad Tempo Storm in the Grand Final.

The two games were by no means one-sided, but Luminosity were in no real danger of losing on either Mirage and Cobble. With careful and precise play, they ended both maps 16-9.

This is their fourth Grand Final appearance at a major tournament this year, and their second championship after taking first at the MLG Major Championship in Columbus.
