Lucasfilm thinks of creating a Star Wars: KotOR screen version

Star Wars: Knights of the Republic diology can surely be called one of the most successful video game adaptations of the George Lucas' Far Far Away Universe, which has a huge fan base. Not surprisingly, the nonlinear storyline and the unusual setting are still able to attract attention.

The games of this series did not receive a full-fledged continuation, limiting themselves only to the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic and comics. However, Lucasfilm management still remembers the success of the franchise, and even is considering the possibility of its adaptation in the foreseeable future.

This became known from an interview with Kathleen Kennedy, company's president, to the MTV News during the Star Wars Celebration. Here is her quote:  

Looks like we can expect anything. From a new comics series or past games' remasters, to a full-fledged series on Disney+ or even a movie. It remains only to wait for something to leak or to be announced. Facts suggest that it won't take too long.
