Lil wants back in esports ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Every competitive player who once was at the top of his career wants to go back to playing in big tournaments after some time out. Ilya "Lil" Ilyuk has recently announced on Twitter he’s looking for a team as a 3rd or 4th position player. He’s also ready to be a stand-in.

Until recently the Ukrainian player was running with a Greek squad Fus Ro Dah that failed to qualify for both the Dreamhack S11 Major and the StarLadder Minor. Before that, he was trying to create a stack of his own called Odium.

Lil has a bad reputation in the professional Dota 2 scene as a player who is very hard to cope with. Perhaps, that is why he is looking for a new home “in any region,” hoping that he can relaunch his career from a clean slate far from CIS and Europe, where everyone knows Lil very well.
