LG, FaZe round up Malmö invites

DreamHack have just announced Luminosity and FaZe as the last two invited teams for DreamHack Masters Malmö.

Luminosity and FaZe will be joining the remainder of our team ranking's top eight as the last two invited teams for the 16-team $250,000 tournament taking place on April 12-17.

Luminosity have been on a rise since acquiring Lincoln "fnx" Lau and Tacio "TACO" Filho in late November last year, as they directly went to FACEIT Stage 3 Finals' grand final after a miraculous run, reached semi-finals at SL i-League StarSeries XIV Finals, and topped it off with a second place at DreamHack ZOWIE Open Leipzig.

FaZe, on the other hand, have so far been unable to break into the world's elite, as they couldn't match up to Na`Vi and Luminosity in the group stage of the German event shortly after joining the new organization.

The two teams have now rounded up the list of invited teams for DreamHack Masters Malmö, which now looks as follows:

A total of 16 teams will take part in the $250,000 tournament, with the remaining eight coming from four qualifiers in three regions, Europe (four spots), North America (three spots) and Asia (one spot).
