The LEC Spring Season for League of Legends has been suspended until further notice due to coronavirus concerns.
The LEC Spring Season was scheduled to take place from January 24, 2020, to March 21, 2020, in Germany.
The LEC released an official announcement via Twitter that explains their reason for suspending the season, and also states that a member of LEC may have come been exposed to the virus:

In light of the uncertainty during the rapidly changing COVID-19 pandemic situation and in an abundance of caution, we've decided to err on the side of player and staff safety and suspend the LEC Spring Season until further notice. At this point in time, no member of the LEC staff or players has tested positive for COVID-19, however we have reason to suspect an LEC staff member may have been exposed to the virus. This person is under quarantine and is being evaluated by health professionals. We will update everyone as soon as we have more information.
This suspension of the LEC is one of many cancellations and delays across multiple industries around the world. The coronavirus pandemic has seen countries being placed on lockdown, restrictions on foreign travel, and a number of other precautions.
