League of Legends patch 9.5 released

Riot Games released 9.5 patch for League of Legends, which unleashes the revamped Kayle and Morgana on the Field of Justice. You can read about the balance and Lore changes brought for the heroes on on this page.

With the new heroes, the development team also introduced balance changes to multiple heroes, tackling some of the problems which needed to be addressed. Specifically, Akali got a little bit buffed after the nerf hammer, which struck with patch 9.3. Back then Riot Games removed the turret stealth and Q heal mechanics, which infuriated many players. Now that the annoying mechanics are out of the way, the devs want to buff Akali up a bit and make her a high-tier champion again.

The update brings many other changes to different heroes, items and even runes. Riot also introduced multiple bug fixes (including the global play of Brand’s VO on Zombie Brand skin) and cosmetic updates.
