LDLC White defeated hometown favourites of ENCE to win Assembly Winter 2016 with a score of 2-0 (16-10 on de_dust2 and 16-7 on de_cache).
The conclusion of the first day of Assembly Winter 2016, taking place in the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre and with €15,000 on offer for competing teams, saw the projected favourites advance to the playoffs with a few high points being LDLC Blue's strong performance and the general poor play of Orgless, the former PixelFire lineup.
The first semifinal, an all-Francophone bash between cousin organisations LDLC White and Blue, saw the former and more experienced team pick apart their confreres on both maps, 16-2 on de_cbble and 16-9 on de_mirage.

Aleksi "allu" Jalli and ENCE, with a large crowd supporting them, meanwhile went up against Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen's Copenhagen Wolves in the second semifinal.
The Danes were however swept aside with ease as Jalli powered ENCE to a 2-0 victory, 16-7 on de_dust2 and 16-4 on de_cbble.
The grand final between LDLC White and ENCE was somewhat as equally one-sided as Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro and teammates Timothée "DEVIL" Démolon and Antoine "to1nou" Pirard brought down ENCE 16-10 on de_dust2 as a result of an exemplary T-side.
de_cache was even more of a one-sided affair as LDLC White took the map 16-7 and thereby won the series 2-0 and the first place prize of €8,000 (~$8,600).
