Kitana is coming to Mortal Kombat 11 ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Lady Kitana is among the most iconic and well-recognizable characters of the Mortal Kombat series, so it’s unsurprising that her inclusion in the latest entry, Mortal Kombat 11, has just been officially confirmed. The confirmation comes via a short TV spot featuring Scorpion and, of course, Kitana.

Every one of us can be a hero, and the TV spot demonstrates exactly that using two veteran fighters for the promotion. Unfortunately, not a single drop of blood was spilt during the family-friendly short cinematic fight between Scorpion and Kitana, but you shouldn’t question the Lady’s abilities to slice her enemies in halves with her metal fans judging by only this trailer. We are most likely getting a proper gameplay introduction where Kitana will show off her bloodthirsty fighting style. It’ll be great to see Kitana and Jade within a single game once again, although Mileena is still lacking from the roster. Perhaps, she’d be added in a future DLC – and NetherRealm is famously known for resurrecting dead fighters. She’s also rumoured to be among the three secret unlockable characters.

Honestly, Mortal Kombat 11 is doing great at bringing back old favourite characters, and Kitana continues the heart-warming trend, although no one beats the introduction of Shang Tsung depicted by Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. The game releases on April 23.
