Kaban Dota 2 team - game over

Kaban Dota 2 team - game over ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!
A little bit more than two weeks ago, the Kaban team participated in our WePlay! Tug of War: Radiant tournament and had far-reaching plans and hopes. We made a great “origin story” of this team before the beginning of the tournament - you can read it here. However, Alexander "DkPhobos" Kucheria announced the collapse of the Kaban team international roster.
The team was formed in January this year. During their short run, Kaban managed to get into closed qualifications for DreamLeague Season 11 Major. Unfortunately, the mix met Team Liquid in the second stage of the Lower Bracket. They weren’t capable of beating up KuroKy and failed.
Misfortune was waiting for the team on StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Qualifiers too. The team lost to the Swedes from Alliance at the semi-finals stage.
Kaban couldn’t rise above 1/32 in the ESL One Mumbai 2019 Open Qualifiers.
Alexander "DkPhobos" Kucheria commented on the voluntary disbanding:
“The team didn’t find the necessary support of the sponsors or organisation. The players need to survive somehow, and we decided to dissolve the roster to try something else. I don’t plan anything yet, and I want to take a break from the competitive Dota and take some time for myself and my relatives.”
Kaban’s ex-roster:
- Oliver "oliver" Lepko
- Leon "Nine" Kirilin
- Alexander "DkPhobos" Kucheria
- Malthe "Biver" Winther
- Troels Lyngholt "syndereN" Nielsen
