Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke has parted ways with SK Gaming, the player has said.

The Danish talent had linked up with SK only last month following his departure from Reason Gaming, stepping into the shoes of Danny "BERRY" Krüger.

The move was never officially confirmed by SK, but Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke played in a variety of online tournaments and even attended DreamHack Open London under the German organisation's banner.

Despite the addition of one of the hottest talents in Scandinavia, SK's woeful run of form continued, with the team currently languishing at the bottom of the ESL ESEA Pro League table with nine defeats from as many matches.

And the 18-year-old has now revealed that he is currently on the lookout for a new challenge, stating that SK's team was plagued by internal problems.

"There were way too many problems, both ingame and outside the game, between the players on our team. I am now a free agent looking for a team."

This may very well not be the only departure on SK Gaming's team as Jesper "tenzki" Plougmann has left the organisation's roster on ESEA to link up with dignitas.

Should Plougmann's departure also be confirmed, SK will be left with:

  • Michael "Friis" Jørgensen
  • Casper "cadiaN" Møller
  • Asger "AcilioN" Larsen
