Jmcrofts reveals his Granblue Fantasy Versus tier list ⚡⚡⚡ Esports news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Fighting game player and streamer, John “Jmcrofts” Crofts is known for his interest in anime fighters, which places Granblue Fantasy Versus right up his alley. Now also a content creator, he has a knack for analysis and recently shared his views on the game’s current roster.

Jmcorfts’ tier list places faults on the X-axis and tier level on the Y-axis, adding a little bit more depth to the conventional alphabetical ranking system. At the top of his list, we see Lancelot, which is consistent with tier lists from a couple of Japanese pro players. Jmcofts speaks like a Lancelot main as he explains just how safe the character is in the game with his invincibility on wake up, ability to dodge anti-airs and how he’s able to get in to deal damage quickly.

Following the knight is Katalina, who has topped most tier lists created for the game. Her long-range poke and projectiles, in addition to some of the best normals in the game, making her extremely powerful, well deserved of an S-tier character.

Gran, Charlotte, and Ferry follow, with the latter on the faults axis for not having as many options as her fellow A-tier characters. Charlotta earns her place with crazy mix-ups, while for Gran, it was his versatility, not to mention his boot and sweep.

Surprisingly, the new DLC characters didn’t place above average, with Narmaya sitting in B-tier while Beelzebub is even lower in C-tier and not entirely faultless. He’s joined here by Zeta, which has some fans outraged at her low placement. On the fault side of C-tier, we see Lowain and Vaseraga.

Jmcrofts made sure to emphasize that his tier list is just an early look at the roster. He also looks forward to revisiting it after the meta has had time to evolve and settle.
