Former Team Liquid and Counter Logic Gaming player, Josh "jdm64" Marzano has retired from competitive CS:GO to start a new career in Riot Games' upcoming shooter, VALORANT.
After a one year stint at Counter Logic Gaming, jdm64 moved to Team Liquid in June 2016. He stayed with the team for two years before joining Team Envy, which is where he remained until he was benched in June 2019. jdm64 became a free agent the following month. His accolades include a first-place finish at the Americas Minor Championship - Boston 2018 and second-place finishes at ESL One: New York 2017 and ESG Tour Mykonos 2017; all under the Team Liquid banner.
With about two decades of Counter-Strike under his belt, jdm64 moves to VALORANT in what has become a bit of a trend. Their reasons for switching often range from their careers, CS:GO or both, stagnating, especially for players from smaller teams. In jdm64's case, he's "decided it's time for a new chapter."
The American player is currently looking for a new team or organization to join.
