Swedish Super Smash Bros. player, Enis "IzawSmash" Al-Maatooq has released his Super Smash Bros. Ultimate version 7.0.0 tier list. Spread across three one-hour long videos, he shares his views on the roster in a bit more detail than he'd initially planned.
IzawSmash is pretty thorough with his opinion on the roster, going into their strengths, weaknesses, and why he believes they deserve the ranks he's given them. He's also used a more typical ranking system, with S representing the best and D, the worst.

Little Mac has graced virtually every Smash Ultimate 7.0.0 tier list with his presence at rock bottom, but IzawSmash spends about as much time discussing the boxer as he does the other characters. It doesn't change how nonviable he is, but it does explain he is this way. Link, his main, doesn't make it into S-tier either. Instead, the young hero in green sits in A-tier for how consistent he is.S-tier is populated by the usual suspects, Peach at the forefront followed by Pikachu and then Joker. Surprisingly, Palutena comes in sixth, following Wario and Zero Suit Samus.
Each video focuses on the High tiers (B to S), Mid tiers (C to B), and Low tiers (D to C), making it quite easy to digest. The majority of the roster also falls into C-tier, followed by A-tier, while S-tier has the least with seven characters.
IzawSmash has competed in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He's considered one of the best Links in Smash Wii U and has stuck with the character in the current state of Smash Ultimate.
