Illuminar hasn't gotten off to the hottest start in 2020. They have played in a number of different qualifiers, but have yet to qualify for any events. This team has been together since April 2019, where they played under x-kom before being picked up by Illuminar.
With this benching, Illuminar is now:
- Michał "mono" Gabszewicz
- Paweł "reatz" Jańczak
- Paweł "innocent" Mocek
- Oskar "oskarish" Stenborowski (Benched)
- Daniel "STOMP" Płomiński (Benched)
- Adrian "imd" Pieper (Coach)
The next open qualifier for Illuminar will be the Europe Minor Open Qualifier 4 on February 12 to try and qualify for ESL One Rio 2020. That gives them only two days before they need to acquire two new players in order to have a chance in the qualifier. This will be the last European open qualifier for the Major.
Following that qualifier, Illuminar will be participating in the FLASHPOINT Europe Closed Qualifier on February 14. Even though this is further away than the qualifier for ESL One Rio 2020, four days still isn't much time to prepare for some of the competition they will face in the qualifier. The Poles will need to do everything they can to prepare for this week.
