Guilty Gear Strive's next reveal was set to take place later in the month at New Game+ Expo. However, it looks like they've got a brand new character reveal that can't wait that long.
Arc System Works is scheduled to introduce Guilty Gear Strive's next addition to its roster during IGN's Summer of Gaming event. The IGN Expo will have numerous games showcased to make up for the absence of large-scale events live E3 this year. Summer has always been the month for big announcements and reveals. Although the coronavirus pandemic has put a halt to live events for the time being, IGN Expo joins the likes of Summer Game Fest and New Game+ Expo to ensure that fans get their regular dose of gaming treats.
The character reveal will take place on June 9, one of the busiest days of the event. Looking at the schedule, Guilty Gear Strive appears to be the only fighting game to make an appearance. However, there are a couple of unknown titles set to be revealed as well, so more could pop up as a welcome surprise. Other games confirmed for the show include Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Cyberpunk 2077, Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, Ninjala, and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.
Days of Summer will run through the entire month of June, while IGN Expo will be held on June 5, 8 and 9.
