Hunt: Showdown is coming to Xbox Game Preview soon ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Crytek’s supernatural monster hunting shooter Hunt: Showdown has already spent plenty of time on PC via Steam Early Access, but last August it was announced that the game was also coming to Xbox One with the help of its Game Preview program. Nothing has changed since, but today we finally have new information regarding the console port.

Hunt: Showdown is expected to release via Xbox Game Preview sometime this Spring, so there’s not much time left to wait. It is worth noting that the console players are going to receive a much more refined version of the game for it has been updated on a regular basis by the developers for the last year on PC. Crytek has been listening to its community and acting correspondingly, which resulted in achieving a high quality of Hunt: Showdown. The information regarding the release window was teased in a short video, which you can watch below.

In Hunt: Showdown, players are tasked with locating a terrifying mystical monster, killing it during an exhausting boss-fight and collecting the trophy. Successful completion does not necessarily mean that you’ve won the game since you also have to safely escape the location. Hunt: Showdown features other players who can join the hunt either solely or in pairs, and once someone has acquired the bounty, the hunt shifts from killing the monster to killing the players who have obtained the trophy.

Ambushes at the escape point are a common thing, and this PvP element brings a lot of fun (and regrets) to the game.
