American fighting game player, Eduardo "HookGangGod" Deno shared his tier list for Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 a few days ago. In it we see all versions of Goku sitting in the top two tiers, while his fusion with Vegeta, Gogeta (SSGSS) is ranked much lower.

Structured alphabetically, HookGangGod’s tier list has only the topmost tier arranged by viability, stating, “everything else is too hard to order.” Kid Buu is considered the strongest of them all, followed by Base Vegita, Bardock, Broly, and Yamcha. Ultra Instinct Goku also makes it into S tier alongside Teen Gohan, Trunks, GT Goku, and Goku Blue. Expecting more pushback than he got against his decision of placing Goku Blue so high up, the tier list did still raise a lot of questions.

The rest of Goku’s forms wound up in tier A+ along with Frieza, Cell, DBS Broly, and a couple others. Most of the problems players had with the tier list was between characters in A and A+. In B tier we see Jiren, Gogeta (SSGSS), Android 16, and Videl, while Nappa gets a tier all to himself, right at the bottom. HookGangGod named it "Bald and Apology Man plays him LOL," with several other characters narrowly dodging the criteria to join this tier.

The former NRG Esports player is known as one of the best Dragon Ball FighterZ players in North America. HookGangGod is also ranked 6th on the PGRZ, Panda Global's top 50 ranking for the best DBFZ players in the world. He's the second highest North American player on the list as Dominique "SonicFox" McLean sits in second place.

HookGangGod recently won the Next Level Battle Circuit: Online Edition #18 DBFZ tournament. It was his second victory in the series.
