Well, you’ll have to get rid of that moustache, right?

Good news, everyone! Henry Cavill, known as Superman from the DC universe movie, will play the main role of Geralt of Rivia in “The Witcher” series produced by Netflix. The information is confirmed by Lauren Hissrich, one of the main showrunners:

The actor went to Instagram to joke about his new address, saying it is now – Geralt C/O, Vesemir, Kaer Morhen, Kaer Morhen Valley, Hertch, Kaedwen.

"Please note, I'm rarely there. Monster slaying being what it is. So, replies will be few and far between, if at all".

Earlier Cavill showed interest in playing Geralt in the adaptation, showering Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels with compliments. The actor also revealed he’s actually a big fan of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”, saying "The Witcher 3. I just replayed all the way through. Love that game. Really good game”.

Despite people doubting the decision to pick Cavill, more seem to support his pick. Just as the main voice actor who played Geralt in the game:
