Ukrainian esports organization HellRaisers has announced the departure of coach Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov. He becomes a free agent after the organisation benched its whole roster.
HellRaisers decided to bench its players following their disappointing performance at StarLadder Berlin Major 2019. They suffered a 1-3 exit in the New Challengers Stage.
The long-time coach was with the original HellRaisers roster as team manager when they parted ways with Astana Dragons. He later left in 2016 and enjoyed a two-year run as mousesports coach before returning to HellRaisers in March 2019.
Since returning to HellRaisers, lmbt has failed to achieve the same success. This year, the team only managed to place above 5th-6th place at one LAN event. It took 2nd place in WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 1 Finals.
HellRaisers CEO, Alex "Magician" Slabukhin said in a statement: "I’m glad to have worked with lmbt, even though it was a short period of time. On behalf of HR and myself, I hope you succeed and always get the luckiest timings possible."
