Hector "HECTOz" Jensen, formerly of European CS:GO team Wygers has completed a transfer to Copenhagen Flames. In the words of the Danish organization's director of esports Daniel Vorborg, the deal was "the worst kept secret in Denmark."
In the past nine months, Copenhagen Flames has sold five players, the most recent of which was their star AWPer, Asger "Farlig" Jensen, who replaced Mikail "Maikelele" Bill on Godsent for a record amount. However, before they could finalize the deal, The Danish organization had about 48 hours to find a replacement before the roster lock.
As Vorborg explains it, the team has seen the 22-year-old Danish player as a significant threat for years, but only decided to pursue the talented player after their backs were up against the wall. "The players were instantly annoyed that they had to face Hector and when asked why they stated that he is the type of player that can win a game alone," said Vorborg in the announcement post.
We're happy to welcome @HECTOzCS to our CS:GO roster! 🔥🔥
