Hearthstone World Championship players and schedule announced

The players and schedule for the Hearthstone World Championship have been announced. The competition stats on October 28 at 12:00 p.m. EST as part of the first week of Blizzon 2015. The winner of the tournament will take the largest portion of the $250,000 USD prize pool. 

Each of the 16 players will be placed into one of four groups. The top two players from each group advance to a Top 8, which will then proceed in single-elimination format.

Each day of the group stages will start at 12:00 p.m. EST, and will take place from October 28 to 31. The final bracket will start on November 6 at 2:45 p.m. EST and conclude on November 7, starting at 1:30 p.m. EST.
