4 New Classic Cards
Blizzard wants every class to have an equal number of Classic cards available. To achieve this, the company is adding 4 new classic cards:
In-game tournaments won’t be released this year
Blizzard devs explained, that the current iteration of in-game tournaments they’re working with internally, doesn’t improve the experience for a broad audience. They will keep on working on the feature to help community events in the future.
— Ultimately, we were forced to conclude that we needed to think about how and where we want to improve Hearthstone’s overall social experience before we can tackle adding a satisfying and robust implementation of In-game Tournaments that all players can enjoy.
Upcoming Events
With Blizzcon right around the corner, players are right to expect new events in Hearthstone. Developers confirmed the return of Hallow's End on October 17, the event will have Dual Class Arena and Tavern Brawl against the Headless Horseman.
Blizzard also touted the arrival of new Paladin Hero, who will be available for purchase as a part of a special deal.
