Hearthstone Fire Fest-EVIL brings a host of new content

Blizzard have revealed three weeks of fun new activities in Hearthstone with a cool video. Named Fire FEST-EVIL, the event begins after the League of EVIL take to the skies in the stolen City of Dalaran. They somehow fall back to Azeroth, but land on Blackrock Mountain. 

For three weeks, players will take part in events related to the League of EVIL's new escapades, beginning on July 10, it will last till July 31. The first two weeks will enable players to unlock upcoming Saviors of Uldum cards by collectively defeating bosses in the Blackrock Tavern Brawl. 25 million kills will be required to reveal a legendary card, while a new card will be revealed every 25% of the total goal. 

Fireside gatherings

Players that attend Fireside Gatherings during the event will receive a defeat count of 500 for each Raganaros kill they get, giving the community effort a huge boost towards the 25 million kills mark. 

Legendary quests

Each day for the first week, a new Legendary Fire Fest-EVIL quest will be available, rewarding players with either a card pack from a current Hearthstone set or a lot of gold. These Legendary quests will take up the space of a normal quest, so it would be wise to clear those first before these become available. 

Tavern Brawl: week one

This solo adventure will have players using different members of the League of EVIL to defeat 8 Blackrock Mountain bosses. Beat 4 to earn one Saviors of Uldum card pack and 8 to earn a new Ragnaros card back. Defeat all eight in one hour to receive a Golden Bronze Herald card and defeat them in 40 minutes to earn a Golden Recurring Villain card

Tavern Brawl: week two

Week two's Tavern Brawl will begin on July 17 and will feature similar rules to week one, however they will also be able to play as Arch-Villain Rafaam. Defeating four bosses for the first time will reward players with a Saviors of Uldum card pack. Defeating 8 using Arch-Villain Rafaam will give players a Golden Rafaam’s Scheme card.

The Burndown

This is a new PvP Tavern Brawl in which players are given a random deck to use. If you lose, you automatically receive the deck of your opponent before your next match. Like usual, the first win rewards players with one Saviors of Uldum card pack. The Burndown brawl will begin on July 24 till the event ends on July 31. Also like usual, Saviors of Uldum packs cannot be opened until the upcoming expansion launches. Good luck!
