Headstomper 2020 registration is live

Headstomper, considered Scandinavia’s greatest fighting game tournament, has now opened registrations for its 2020 event. The annual competition will provide fans that signup in February with discounts. 

This year’s event features five games, namely Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, Samurai Shodown, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, Tekken 7 and the soon to be released fighter, Granblue Fantasy Versus. Arc System Work’s fighting game based on Cygames' multimedia franchise has built a lot of hype, making it a tournament title at many of this year’s events even though it’s not out yet. The game releases in Japan tomorrow, while the West will receive it on March 3, 2020. 

Like in 2019, Headstomper 2020 is a Capcom Pro Tour event, meaning that many aspiring Street Fighter players and pros will take part in the tournament to earn CPT points. A few personalities have called 2019’s offering one of the best events for the year, so fans will undoubtedly be looking forward to what Co-Ma FGC has in store for them this year.
