Haohmaru joins SoulCalibur VI roster on March 31

Bandai Namco has released an extended gameplay trailer for Samurai Shodown poster boy, Haohmaru. The guest character makes a perfect fit as he slashes his way through his opponents.

Haohmaru takes a swig from his gourd of sake to seemingly heal himself, demonstrates his fancy swordcraft, and even attacks opponents without his trusty katana. There’s a lot to like about the next DLC character, and this iteration stays true to the character we all know from the SNK franchise.

The SoulCalibur VI DLC 9 character arrives with a new stage and BGM on March 31. There’s also what looks like a Nakoruru costume,  a couple of Nakoruru parts, and three weapons for Haohmaru. DLC 10 Character Creation Set D was also featured in the video.

Haohmaru is the second character of SoulCalibur VI Season Pass 2. Two more fighters remain to reveal before the second season of content is complete.
