Gun Game makes its first appearance in Call of Duty: Mobile as a limited-time mode, and it’s available for the next 30 days only.

The new mode pits ten players against one another, charged with reaching 200 points (20 kills) before anyone else. The catch is, with every kill, the player’s gun automatically switches to something else. As a result, standard loadouts will be unavailable in the mode.

The Gun Game arsenal includes shotguns, sniper rifles, and even rocket launchers, which will lead to some crazy gunfights. However, the final weapon is a knife, making the last kill one worthy of the pros and the lucky. Matches will end after 10 minutes if no winner emerges before then.

Gun Game is the second solo, limited-time mode to make its way to CoD: Mobile since its October 1 release. The first mode was Free-for-All which is just your standard solo deathmatch. It arrived on October 11 and will be making its departure before the game on October 18.

CoD: Mobile has been a huge success, exceeding 100 million downloads in only a week after release. It is unknown how frequently the game will receive these special modes and how often old ones will return. Their limited nature will give players a sense of urgency to play them. Yet, it could also leave a lot of fans without their favourite modes for long periods after they’ve left.
