Guilty Gear -Strive- videos prepare fans for the closed beta ⚡⚡⚡ Esports news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

With the Guilty Gear -Strive- closed beta only days away, Arc System Works has begun to release starter guide videos to give players insight into how the characters play in the upcoming game.

The first videos showcase two of the series’ most iconic characters, Sol Badguy and Ky Kisuke. It goes over their basics and emphasizes their strengths. So players get some insight into what to expect, whether they or their opponents pick either of these characters.

Sol Badguy is a rushdown character with great anti-airs, but it’s in close-range that he truly shines. His moves also give him high mobility, allowing Sol to close the distance between opponents.

Ky Kisuke is the nicer of the pair, and the easiet to use. Being an all-round character means that he’s a great pick for beginners. Ky’s also good at zoning due to a variety of projectile options. Another added advantage is Ky’s “Shock State,” which he inflicts on enemies to increase the properties of his special attacks.

Arc System Works has already begun to send out beta keys to those lucky enough to make it into the closed beta test. Although it focuses on the online, component players will be able to play offline during server maintenance.

The Guilty Gear -Strive- closed beta will run from April 16-19 this weekend on Playstation 4. The game currently has a late 2020 release date.
