Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács has found a new home by standing-in temporarily for Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli for FLASHPOINT Season 1 on Dignitas due to visa issues, according to an announcement via Twitter.

GuardiaN was released from Na'Vi earlier this year after lackluster performances with the team in 2019 for young gun Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy. GuardiaN had initially stated that he would wait until after the first Major to decide if he wanted to compete again. Well, it seems the itch to compete became one he needed to scratch, and he decided to join Dignitas for FLASHPOINT Season 1.
Dignitas is one of the seven teams who bought in and became partners of the FLASHPOINT league. With a buy-in of $2 million, Dignitas will receive a direct invite to FLASHPOINT Season 1. Dignitas announced earlier this year that they had acquired a quartet core of the former legendary 87-0 NiP line up, and hallzerk was the newcomer to round out the squad. With the temporary switching of hallzerk for GuardiaN, Dignitas is going into FLASHPOINT as:
- Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg
- Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund
- Adam "friberg" Friberg
- Richard "Xizt" Landström
- Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács (Stand-in)
- Robin "Fifflaren" Johansson (Coach)
FLASHPOINT Season 1 is set to kick off on March 13 in Los Angeles, California.
