Cygames has released the patch notes for Granblue Fantasy Versus version 1.21, which brings with it the newest DLC characters Soriz and Djeeta.
RPG Mode also receives several new weapons and a couple of new quests related to the upcoming characters. Then there are a few balance changes for seven characters and bug fixes for two of them. Here's a proper look at what Granblue Fantasy Versus version 1.21 has to offer:
General

Character Adjustments
Charlotta

Shining Onslaught will no longer come out when the end of the input is neutral or downwards.
Percival
-
Crouching Heavy had its upwards hurtbox reduced before the move becomes active. The hurtbox also reduced.

Crouching Unique had its recovery reduced.

Jumping Heavy now has a faster startup.

X-Seele receives both an increase to active frames of the hitbox and hitstun when the grab lands.
Metera

Crouching Heavy now has an increased initial hitbox.

Down-Back Heavy (1H) now has a reduced upwards hurtbox of the move's initial startup. The size of the initial hitbox has also increased.

Aetherial Seal will no longer have the cooldown restart when an arrow hits a butterfly, but instead, freeze in place temporarily. The cooldown will now restart from where it stopped instead of from the beginning once the hitbox of the butterfly's explosion disappears.
Lowain

Close Standing Medium now has reduced recovery.

Far Standing Medium now has reduced recovery.

Crouching Heavy now has a faster startup.
Zeta

Far Standing Medium now has reduced recovery.

Crouching Heavy now has reduced recovery, an extended hitbox, and a decreased upwards hurtbox before the move becomes active.

Spear of Arvess won't come out unless the stick is being held forward after inputting the move.

Light Spear or Arvess now has a faster startup.

Medium Spear or Arvess (Rise) and Medium Spear or Arvess (Fall) now have their hitbox increased behind Zeta.
Vaseraga

Close Standing Heavy now has reduced recovery.

Crouching Heavy now has reduced recovery, and the upwards hurtbox before the move becomes active has been reduced.

Crouching Unique now has reduced recovery.

Jumping Medium now has a faster startup.

Soul Forge now has a faster startup, reduced recovery, and will now apply armor at an earlier timing from before. The hurtbox will also exist for a shorter time on whiff and block.

Battalions of Fear will no longer come out when the end of the input is neutral or downwards.

Bloody Moon now has a faster startup and will no longer be in a counter-hittable state after the move.

Aftermath will now start the cinematic portion of the move even if it's the followup hits that land as long as Vaseraga is still close enough for a cinematic hit to occur like normal.
Beelzebub

Langelaan Field now has the appropriate Ability Icon to show that it is indeed an invincible move.
Bug Fixes

Narmaya and Chaos Bringer both had bugs related to air throw (RPG Mode), and Passives fixed.
More character adjustments are expected to arrive in the next patch slated for later in April. Most likely coming with Zooey, it will feature general changes to the roster that will focus on the following:
- Frame advantage on close normals.
- Startup hitboxes on projectiles.

Rectify the problem where people accidentally input special moves when they don't mean to.
