Granblue Fantasy Versus has been on a roll since its release on February 6 in Japan. In two days, the game had sold 150,000 units and now barely out for two months, its broken another milestone.
The fighting game based on Cygames mobile/browser RPG has sold over 200,000 copies in Japan. This sales figure includes both digital and physical copies, but global sales numbers are currently unavailable. The game became an FGC favorite even before its release as some international tournaments added it to their lineup prior to release.

Granblue Fantasy Versus arrived in North America on March 3, on PC via Steam since March 13 and just recently on March 27 in Europe. The varying release dates are most likely why no global numbers have been shared yet, but by April, we should start seeing the sales figures for other regions.
So far, two DLC characters in person of Chaos Bringer and Narmaya, are already available in the game. Soriz and Djeeta are next on the release list, while Zooey will be the last to arrive. Season Pass two was also announced a while back, with Belial the only confirmed character in it.
How the coronavirus epidemic will affect the game’s DLC development is unknown, but for the time being, things seem to be moving smoothly.
