Granblue Fantasy: Versus North America launch date revealed ⚡⚡⚡ Esports news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!
XSEED Games has announced that the North American version of Granblue Fantasy Versus will arrive on March 3, 2020. The Japanese version will release on February 6.
Arc System Works and Cygames' 2.5D fighter is based on the popular mobile and web browser RPG, Granblue Fantasy. Like any good hero collector, it's got numerous characters, a unique art style, and great music. All these seem to translate well into the upcoming fighter except for the cast, as the game will release with only 11 fighters in its rosters. That's quite small for a fighting game in this day and age, but certainly not a deal-breaker. The game will also receive four DLC characters in its first season of additional content.
With the winds of the Sky Realm at our heels and 11 launch fighters waiting with baited breath, #GranblueFantasy: Versus will soon soar onto the fighting game stage worldwide!

Gamers, particularly fans of Japanese RPGs, had a stacked lineup of titles releasing in the first quarter of 2020, including Final Fantasy VII and Persona 5 Royal. The former was initially meant to launch on March 3 but was postponed till April 10. Although, it's not the game we had planned to receive, it's still great that Granblue Fantasy Versus will be available to keep fans busy until Final Fantasy VII Remake arrives in April.
Granblue Fantasy Versus will launch exclusively on PlayStation 4 in both a standard and premium edition for $59.99 and $79.99, respectively. The game will also include free content for the original game, and the fighter is available to pre-order now on Amazon.
