Granblue Fantasy Versus fifth DLC character leaked

Granblue Fantasy Versus’ fifth DLC character wasn’t supposed to be revealed so soon, but their identity has been accidentally leaked after a Playstation Store product listing shared who it is. 

The Granblue Fantasy fighting game hit western store shelves today, along with a variety of DLC. Besides the release of Character Pass 1 fighters Chaos Bringer and Narmaya, DLC also includes a color pack for all the game’s additional characters. Listed in the pack is Zooey, one of the original game’s most popular characters that have already made it to other titles like Shadowverse.  

Zooey appeared in the game’s story mode with a 2.5D model, and so did a couple of other characters from the original game. As a result, one can’t help but think whether others like Rackam and Io could also make it into the game as a part of future Character Passes. 

Cygames will be celebrating Granblue Fantasy’s 6th anniversary with a special livestream this weekend on March 8. The event would be the ideal opportunity to make Zooey official.
