Granblue Fantasy Versus Asia version arrives with English options ⚡⚡⚡ Esports news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

The hype surrounding Granblue Fantasy Versus has reached a fever pitch now that it's out in Asia. With the North America release set for March 3, English speaking fans have had to decide between getting a copy in another language or waiting until March.

It turns out there's a third option. Just get the Asia version and select the in-game English options. For years now, games that have launched in the Asia region have had English included in its language options. For this reason, many fans own a second or third Playstation account for the region so that they can get their hands on games early. Titles like Super Robot Taisen that don't make it to the West can also be found playable with English subtitles in that store region.

In the case of Granblue Fantasy Versus, fans with an Asian PlayStation Network account and access to funds on it will be able to set both the text and voice options to English. All you need to do is go to the Options menu and open the "Sound & Language Settings" before making your selection.

Granblue Fantasy Versus' popularity has it appearing as a main title at many upcoming tournaments like EVO 2020, Headstomper 2020, and Combo Breaker 2020. There's also the fact that it's one of Arc World Tour's titles, so there are lots of good reasons why fans would prefer to get their hands on the game sooner rather than later.

The game features 11 characters right now, with four scheduled to arrive later in the year as part of the first character pass. This first wave of DLC will feature five characters that include Chaos Bringer, Narmaya, Soriz, and Djeeta. The fifth character will be unveiled on the Granblue Fantasy 6th Birthday live stream next month.

The first tournaments in the Arc World Tour 2020 circuit are Brussels Challenge and Final Round, which both take place on March 20-22, 2020.
